Something is brewing over at drop.io this weekend I just received this Email:
Hi there,
About a year ago we pushed changes to the drop.io application that brought real-time functionality to almost all aspects of the front-end experience. This was a huge advancement for the way our users interact with their content and the various inputs and outputs that make drop.io so powerful.
This year we’re going further… much, much further, and this weekend we are making the core deployments that will cascade into a host of enormous service improvements over the next six months.
Unfortunately, the trade-off is that in order for us to flip the switch we need to do some major work on the architecture of our production environment that will mean that drop.io will be intermittently down throughout this weekend. Our entire team will be working around the clock to have drop.io back up as soon as possible – faster, stronger, better.
You will not see the payoff Monday morning, but we promise this set is beyond worth it. Thank you for your patience while we take drop.io “Where No One Has Gone Before.”
