Vastly improved Facebook Page Manage UI

Facebook rolled out community page support today for at least some of their users. The shortcut to access the page management is:

http://facebook.com/pages/manage

Once you are on that page click “create page” then you will see the new UI:

Check out the new Page Manage User Interface

This may be the first step towards creating an internal “causes” type infrastructure. It could be that Causes has opened Facebook’s eyes to another revenue stream and they may be poised to pursue it. Alternatively it could just be to provide people who want a different kind of Fan Page. Or perhaps it’s just a delicious April fools joke. Any predictions?

Utilizing the Facebook Weekly Fan Page Update Email

I received an Email from Facebook today that is really saving me a lot of time analyzing all the fan pages I am an administrator of. Here is a sample of some of the information it provides:

Here is this week’s summary for the Facebook Page: Managed Solutions

+11 Fans this week (409 total Fans)

11 Wall Posts, Comments, and Likes this week (2 last week)

149 Visits to your page this week (140 Visits last week)

This information is very useful to me because it gives me a quick at a glance view of what’s happening with all the pages. It also provides me with links to the pages, insights and advertising which might not sound like a big deal but it can be a pain to drill all that information down. Is this new? I don’t recall ever receiving anything like it before. Here is a video with more data:

Update Microsoft Office Products – Joe Reviews SB10-074 Cert Report (Video)

Here is a review of this weeks Cert Advisory. This update contains the infamous Arucer.dll that came with the charging software on the Energizer Duo USB.
