Never expect data coverage, unless you do lots of research!
I wrote this on the evening of Friday the 3rd, thinking that I had some sort of data connection. As luck turned out I did not. We are loving our time here in the area and I am playing catch up right now. I found a spot where my 4G hotspot works so life is good…
It’s been a long awesome day and I am beat. I figured while I was waiting my turn for the shower I’d put a quick note up to let everyone who’s been following along that we visited Walnut Canyon today and relocated to our next temporary home at Lake Powell. The Verizon data here is 3G and 1X, and not too impressive. I’ll have to engage my bag of tricks to get the most of it. I promise pictures will be forthcoming.

Lake Powell is incredible, in fact, everything here is so huge it makes you feel really, really small. Our campsite is the best of our trip so far. We have incredible views and plenty of space around us. Here is a photo tour of what we found on arrival:
