It’s big, no, it’s huge.. no… it’s Grand.
This is one of those places you simply do have to see in person to appreciate. Only your eyes can process how absolutely massive the Grand Canyon is. We really don’t have a word to describe it. We were determined to get some real exercise so I had the camera in sport mode and we did stop in a few places but mostly just walked along the rim (mostly) and enjoyed the incredible view.
Educational Opportunity
I am learning a lot on this trip and while this is mental enrichment for me, it is even more so for our son. The opportunity to see and experience different things and places is the biggest motivator for us for this trip. Seeing the world through his eyes is so much better than through just my own. The subtle things he notices, the things he teaches me. If you’ve always wanted to do something, do it, find a way, and make it happen. You won’t regret it. Happy Trails!
