Today we awoke to the final morning in San Diego at Santee Lakes and headed for Arizona. We had some great times with old friends, got lots of rest and I was able to see some customers that I had not met before in person. All in all, San Diego was quite good for us. We’re a bit behind this evening due to our later arrival, so I am going to be brief today. I did want to say that the 4G service here is SOLID at the Lake Pleasant RV Park so I am pretty happy that I’ll be able to get work done without crazy delays.
Highlights and takeaways from today:
- Giving a youngster a glow stick after watching Star Wars doesn’t help with bedtime readiness.
- You can start your generator and run the big roof air units to avoid cooking your family while driving your RV through Arizona.
- Glamis and Greys/Gordon’s well look very similar to how they did 20+ years ago aside from the restrooms spread around the parking areas and the fancy new sand/atv/4wd proof fence.
- It feels really good to reach your destination #2 even when you’re already missing destination #1.
