With our hearts and minds tied up on the Haiti crisis it is important to take a break and see something very different. I would like to introduce you to Jonah Rocks, if his smile at 1:10 into this video doesn’t make you feel good you might need professional help. Aside from his great smile this kid has some amazing skills, but I hope he is able to still be a kid because we know what fame can do to people. This video only has 113,826 views as of this publishing but I predict many more in the coming months, he already has videos with over 1 million views! This cover may not please all the viewers but of the videos I watched he demonstrates the most skill in this one and I like the song.
Radar Now Application for Android Phones
I love opening up the Android Marketplace on my Droid Phone and checking out the latest apps. This is a video of the Radar Now application for the Android Phone Operating system. I am using and demonstrating this app on my Verizon Droid Phone. It is a very useful app particularly if you are travelling and need access to some recent weather radar coverage. I wish I had this years ago when I did a lot of camping
Droid Must Have Task Manager Application
The first application you should download is one of the Task Manager apps. These applications allow you to kill extra programs that you do not want running or failed applications that might have hung or crashed. I’ve only seen the latter once but it was nice to be able to stop it without resetting my phone. The kill function is very responsive, similar to a Unix type environment.
Droid Does Wifi Analysis for Free
Do not waste your money on expensive Wifi Analyzer hardware and software just pickup a Droid phone and download the Wifi Analyzer utility for free. This tool is useful in identifying networks that overlap and will allow you to determine if you’ve made the right decisions about the channel your wireless device is using. You can quickly and easily see if there is a strong wifi signal that overlaps yours. Unlike my example you should perform this analysis where you intend to USE your wifi client devices most.
